1997 Feb. 15 Message from POCEX Secretary :Dear PORSEC Participants
The Japanese Ocean Color and Temperature Scanner OCTS flying on the ADEOS Satellite, is now operating successfully, so it is time to move into the ground truth collection phase for the Pacific Ocean Color Experiment, POCEX. You can look forward to receiving data from the first of our four satellites to match your ground truth measurement. These should be generally useful for the management of your country's coastal zone.
I will be contacting you soon to see who needs a collection kit for chlorophyll and I will also be asking who needs fuel expenses for the collection program.
